My Story

My journey into this work was born from a deep place of longing—not just for support, but for understanding. During my own pregnancies, breastfeeding experiences, and postpartum recovery, I often felt unsupported—not because no one was present, but because those around me could not fully grasp the depth of the emotional, spiritual, and physiological transformation I was undergoing. I craved more than encouragement. I was seeking something deeper: wisdom, truth, and presence. I longed for guidance that could see and honor all of me, and I could not ignore how rare that felt.

Over time, I came to see that this experience was not just my own. So many Black and Brown mothers are under-supported, not because we are unloved, but because our traditions have been dismissed and our transitions reduced to checklists. That realization planted a seed I could not ignore.

My journey became one of reclamation: gathering knowledge, advocating for myself, and learning to trust what my intuition had always known. Birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum are not merely physical events. They are profound rites of passage. They deserve reverence, understanding, and support that honors both the science and the soul.

My own breastfeeding experience came with challenges—low supply, outside doubt, and moments of deep discouragement. But what carried me through was a fierce will, relentless research, and an inner knowing that I was made for this. That knowing deepened over time through ancestral dreams and a reconnection to my roots.

"This is more than a service.

It is a remembering—of who we are,

and how we have always healed."

What began as personal healing has since become a calling, affirmed with each pregnancy and through both spiritual insight and the guidance of my foremothers. As an Espiritista and a daughter of Caribbean folk traditions—traditions of prayer, earth medicine, and ancestral wisdom—I walk with the presence of those who came before me. Their voices, their rituals, and their strength live at the heart of this work.

I am currently completing my certification as a Breastfeeding Educator and offer care that goes beyond information. I support women with evidence-based guidance, but also with nurturing, culturally rooted care that honors the emotional and spiritual dimensions of motherhood. Whether through lactation support, postpartum healing, or ritual guidance, my work weaves together mind, body, spirit, and lineage.

This is more than a service. It is a remembering—of who we are, and how we have always healed.

Through Primordial Mater, I hold space for women to return to their wholeness, soften into their transitions, and reconnect to their sacred knowing. Whether you are a mother navigating lactation, postpartum shifts, or ancestral healing, I welcome you into this work with deep care and open arms.
